26 ft box trucks only

Box truck dispatch for 26-footers, booked only when you say yes

We dispatch 26 ft box trucks, and nothing shorter, not even a foot. That focus is the point: we know the partials, final mile and expedited freight a 26-footer can win, and the payload line it can't cross. Every load comes to your phone to confirm or pass, and the rate con goes straight to you. 7% of gross, no setup fee.

Box truck dispatcher or doing it yourself: an honest table

Lots of box truck owners book their own freight, and some do it well. Here's what changes when a desk does it.

Payload check

How much weight can a 26 ft box truck carry?

Legal payload is your GVWR minus what the truck weighs empty with fuel, driver and gear. Most non-CDL 26-footers are rated just under 26,001 lb GVWR. Put in your numbers and the load you're offered.

Weigh the truck empty and fueled at a certified scale for the real curb weight. Spec sheets are often light.

GVWR is the weight rating on the door sticker, not a guess from the spec sheet. More in our GVWR definition.

Freight we book

26ft box truck dispatcher: the freight we book

A 26 ft box with a liftgate can work freight that bigger trucks can't get close to. These are the loads we look for first.

  • Partials and LTL-size loads

A few pallets going the same direction. Often stack two or three partials into one profitable run.

  • Final mile

Store, home and job-site deliveries where a 53 ft trailer won't fit or isn't allowed.

  • Expedited

Time-critical freight that pays for speed. Short notice, tight windows, good rates when it's real.

  • Job-site and supply runs

Fixtures, tools and building supplies to construction sites and supply houses, often with liftgate delivery.

  • Retail and event freight

Store resets, displays and event gear, often scheduled and repeatable.

  • Relocation and furniture

Commercial moves and furniture deliveries, where a liftgate and a pallet jack matter.

Before we offer

What we check before a box truck load reaches your phone

  1. 01

    Weight vs your payload

The load weight against your legal payload, with room to spare. Over the line means we don't offer it.

  2. 02

    Fit on the deck

Pallet count, stacking and dimensions against a 26 ft box, so you don't show up to freight that won't close the door.

  3. 03

    Liftgate and dock

Whether pickup and delivery have docks or need your liftgate and a pallet jack.

  4. 04

    Touch or no touch

Who loads and unloads. Driver assist gets called out up front, and priced, not discovered at the door.

  5. 05

    Appointments

Pickup and delivery windows that work with your hours and the next load.

  6. 06

    The reload

What's near the delivery, so a good load out doesn't turn into a long empty ride back.

“Box truck loads pay too little.”

Some do, and we pass on those. The ones worth taking usually combine a fair rate with low deadhead, a liftgate premium or a stacked partial. On an EXAMPLE $780 load, our 7% fee is $55 and you keep $725 before fuel. If the math doesn't work for you, you pass. Nothing gets booked without your yes.

FAQ

Box truck dispatch service questions

How much does box truck dispatch cost?

7% of the gross on loads you haul, at any authority age. It drops to 4% per truck once you run two or more trucks. No setup fee, no monthly minimum, and nothing on weeks you don't haul.

Do you dispatch box trucks under 26 ft?

No. We dispatch 26 ft box trucks only, nothing shorter. The freight, brokers and rates we work are built around the 26-footer. If you're moving up from a smaller box, apply once the 26 ft truck is ready and we'll put it to work.

How much weight can a 26 ft box truck carry?

It depends on the truck. Subtract the curb weight with fuel, driver and gear from the GVWR on the door sticker. Many non-CDL 26-footers are rated just under 26,001 lb GVWR, but curb weights vary a lot with body, liftgate and reefer unit. Weigh yours empty and fueled to know your real number.

Does a 26 ft box truck need a CDL?

Only if its GVWR is 26,001 lb or more (49 CFR 383.5), or it hauls placarded hazmat. Most 26-footers are rated just under the line so they can be driven without one. Check the door sticker, or use our CDL checker.

Can you dispatch a new MC box truck?

Yes. Some brokers won't set up an authority under 30 to 90 days, so a new MC takes more calls, but plenty of box truck brokers work with new carriers. The rate is 7% either way.

Will you force me to take loads?

No. Every load is offered to you first with the lane, weight, rate and appointment times. You confirm or pass. When you confirm, the broker sends the rate con straight to you.

Do you dispatch cargo vans or sprinter vans?

No. We don't dispatch cargo vans or sprinter vans. For box trucks, we dispatch 26-footers only.

Every rate tier is on the fee schedule.
